Purpose:
To develop and maintain a team of people at our car wash that focuses on continuous improvement of customer service.
a. Increasing the number of cars washed.
b. Decreasing the number of errors made while cleaning (quality and safety).
c. Increasing the positive feelings of the customers for the entire experience (friendliness).

c. Clean and maintain facility to rigorously high standards.
a. Correct physical errors in all services.

c. Fill in for gaps in staffing.
d. Be available for customer complaint problems.
e. Monitor employee productivity and make staffing adjustments.
f. Monitor the extra service personnel for accuracy and thoroughness.
g. Hand out applications and arrange for personal interviews.

a. Complete the employee hour's summary on a daily basis.
b. Provide raise/incentive information to bookkeeping.

d. Coordinate with customers/ insurance co. on car damage situations. Negotiate with vendors for discounts.
e. Complete and verify the appropriate hiring documentation for new employees.
g. Comply with all state and federal labor laws.
1. Weekly salary of $460 to $500 weekly based on a 57 1/2, hour workweek.
2. Monthly Profit distribution plan.
a. A percentage of the net profits of the location are distributed to the management and cashiers on the first full payroll of the following month.
b. Profits are derived from increased sales, cost control, customer service.
c. Profits are affected by the weather and other slow business concerns.
After one year;
1. Production Supervisors employed two full years or more are allowed two weeks paid vacation.
2. Production Supervisors employed less than two full years are allowed one week paid vacation.
1. Two days off are taken per week.
2. Days off are Thursday and Friday.
1. On the Job at 7 am Monday through Saturday and 8 am Sunday.
2. Off, when the job is done. Usually 6:30 PM Monday through Saturday.
A. Variables would include necessary maintenance either scheduled or not.
B. Excessive cleanup and housekeeping that cannot be completed during regular hours.
C. No schedule lunch breaks or leaving the facility.
1. Lunches are unscheduled; eat when you can and bring your own.
3. Average workweek is 59 1/2 hours.
4. Average day is 11 ¾ hours.
1. The Lovelace Health Plan is available after 90 days.
A. Octopus pays ½ or more of the premium for the employee. Current weekly payroll deduction for single person is $30.80.
B. Employee pays Spouse and family coverage. Current weekly payroll deduction for Employee and Spouse is $79.35.
C. Current weekly payroll deduction for Employee, Spouse, and Family is $108.70.

1. Physical working environment with a large amount of repetitive motion and bending.
2. Wet concrete surfaces to walk on all day.
3. Virtually no sitting except when moving customer's vehicles around the lot.
4. Scrubbing motions are used constantly.
5. Mechanical work requires hand, and power, tool operation.
1. Loud blower requires ear protection.
2. Hot and humid in the summer. Water temperature reaches 120 degrees.
3. Cold winter weather can freeze due to wind exposure and damp conditions. Not recommended for arthritis.
1. Typical car wash employees have limited communication skills.
2. Bilingual ability (Spanish) is more and more important for conflict resolution and training.
3. Due to the low skill level turnover is high creating frustration and the need to cover employee positions.
